Description

The Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 wedge is the new face of spin. This wedge combines the legendary performance of the classic 588 wedge with added forgiveness and Cleveland's fourth generation Rotex Face technology, which is Cleveland's most advanced spin technology ever! The 588 RTX 2.0 wedge is offered with 3 distinct grind options which allows players to maximize performance from any type of turf condition. This wedge delivers more control, consistent spin and increased versatility, which ultimately leads to lower scores.

Photo shows 52 degree I want 60 degree with narrow width,Broder width I am finding it difficult to loft the ball with thicker grass. What do you suggest?
asked by Aruldoss N. on 2/2/2016
A
Please use the drop down boxes on the listing of the Cleveland Wedge to choose Lob wedge and 60 degrees of loft. You can also choose the correct bounce you are interested in. A lower bounce option is probably the best if you are trying to hit the ball from thicker grass so it will cut through the grass easier.

Q
Would the grooves on fair or value clubs still be in functional condition? In other words might I see dented or filed down grooves that would affect the bite on a ball?
asked by Matt P. on 10/3/2016
A
The value condition clubs will have more wear to the grooves compared to the other condition ratings. The value condition clubs are completely playable but will have heavy wear to the face and sole of the club. If you are worried about the grooves at all, I would shy away from the value condition.
