Description

The TaylorMade Tour Preferred CB irons feature Speed Pocket™ technology in the 3-7 iron which creates more consistent ball speeds and launch conditions across the entire face. This improved cut through Speed Pocket technology coupled with progressively less off-set as you get into the short-irons gives you an ideal iron for the player who wants maximum performance technology in a compact and elegant head design. The clubs all have hand-polished satin nickel-chrome finish and precisely shaped sole with slightly more effective bounce giving the advanced player the ultimate combination of speed, stability and playability.

Features

  • Precision-engineered cavity design Speed Pocket™ technology in the long irons (3-7) increases ball speed low on the face to deliver more consistent ball speed and launch conditions across the entire face.
  • Compact short-irons with minimal offset for improved spin and control where players require it most and slightly larger mid to long irons with progressively more offset to improve playability.
  • Stronger lofts due to higher launch angle generated by the Speed Pocket for an optimal combination of distance and controlled trajectory.
  • Each iron has a hand-polished satin nickel-chrome finish preferred by better players.

Q
What is the difference between the Tour Preferred MC and the Tour Preferred CB models?
asked by Tom Y. on 3/8/2016
A
The Tour Preferred MC combines a player’s shape with a shallow muscle cavity design for better players. Compared to the CB version or full-fledged "cavity back" version, they are smaller in blade length, size of head, and have less offset in the head than the CB. The CB will be more forgiving and give you the look of a players iron but with added forgiveness of a cavity back design.
