Description

The Callaway Apex iron defies conventional wisdom by delivering extreme X Hot distance and performance in a forged iron. This forged iron features an ultra-hot face coupled with tungsten sole inserts to create a low center of gravity (CG) which increases forgiveness and launch angle generating a level of playability you would not expect from a forged iron. This iron has a forged carbon steel construction which delivers the soft, responsive feel better players demand and the high performance wide groove face design allows for more spin and increased carry from any type of turf condition.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Q
Never bought used clubs. I play 2-3 times a week, have a 10-12 handicap. How long would very good condition last me? I'm not one to buy every couple of years
asked by Joseph P. on 12/11/2016
A
Please follow the link below for details on our condition ratings. https://www.globalgolf.com/about/club-rating/ It is hard to judge how long they would last as everyone is different in how long they keep a set of irons based on the amount of wear they are comfortable playing with.

Is the True Temper XP 95 S300 considered "lightweight steel" compared to the TT S300? Have there been any modifications to the factory specs?
asked by Steve D. on 6/29/2017

Handicap: 16-20  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

Switched out of my rocketbladez for this set as I've finally started to break 90 consistently. Immediately started scoring better once I put these in the bag. Perfect irons for mid-handicappers looking to upgrade from game improvement clubs. Distance and feel are superb and I only see a minimal drop off in forgiveness. If you're ready to have a clean looking set of forged irons in your bag - this is the set!

Increased distance and Accurcy
By Thomas W on 9/30/2014

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

I ordered a custom fit set of these irons this spring. I immediately found an increase in distance, especially on the 4-6 irons. Practice and play brought an increase in accuracy. These irons feel good and provide great feedback on all types of strikes. Even got a hole-in-one with the 7 iron on a recent round. I plan to play these for many years!
