The Nike VR-S Covert Tour Driver features a cavity back design creating more mass in the heel and toe areas. It features a slightly smaller, deeper face 430cc clubhead (compared to the standard version) produces slightly less spin and a more penetrating ball flight designed to help better players shape their tee shots more easily. The weight plug in the sole helps Nike optimize the center of gravity, but is not adjustable or removable. FlexLoft allows the golfer to adjust the loft and face angle independently. The loft can be adjusted between 8.5 and 12.5 in 1 degree increments and the face angle can be set left (closed), neutral (square), right (open). The NexCOR face technology makes the edges of the face thinner than the center which enlarges the sweet spot. This translates to faster ball speeds across a wider area of the face resulting longer shots.
