Look Good in White!
By Older but better on 3/8/2011

When the R11 drivers first appeared I jokingly said to my wife that I am hitting my R9 driver so well that I can't imagine how well I would hit the new R11 driver. She replied that I wouldn't look good in all white and that I should stick to my R9. After a demo session with the R11, I decided that looks aren't everything. I have picked up twenty to twenty-five yards with the R11 and I thought I was "bombing" my R9. The new technologies from Taylormade are just as effective in controlling ball flight, if not more so in the R11. I am still able to totally dial out the occasional "duck-hook" that has plagued me most of my golfing life. The only negative I have experienced with the R11 is that there are a few holes at our club that I can no longer use a driver. The ball simply goes too far and into trouble. The R11 seems to be a little heavier than the R9, but this may not be all bad. Maybe this slows your swing a little and helps with tempo. All said, I am 60 years old and keeping up with the "kids" at our club once again. Great job Taylormade.

R-11-The best new driver out there.

I recently went to a demo day at a local driving range.I have lost a lot of distance the last few years and was interested in finding a little help in this area. I tried out drivers from every manufacturer that day. Without question, the R-11 was the most solid driver that I hit. I was hitting it longer than my current driver and what I really liked was it was getting more roll. And at 65 years old I can definetly use the extra roll. I purchased the R-11 and have used it 4 times now. I am hitting it just as good on the course as I did on the range. It was well worth the price. Just a fantastic club.

So far above the competition!!!!!!!

Money doesn't grow on the trees around my house so I almost didn't even hit this driver when I was trying to choose, now I'm just glad it's only $400.00 instead of 8 because Id still be getting one. I hit 5 different drivers tonight, Calloway's razr hawk, Nike vr, cleveland ultralight, taylor made super fast, and the r11. My opinion is that the super fast came in a distant 2nd. This driver is so far ahead of the comp. It's amazing, it was more accurate, and consistently 25 to 30 yards farther than than my best drives with the others. I hit appox 12 drives with it my shortest was 289 longest was 314, the longest drive I hit with any of the others was 277 and it was with the super fast. If u don't want to pay the price for this driver than u better not hit it, because if u do u will be buying one like me!!!!!!!!! I have always read the reviews on products before buying, but have never wrote one, but after hitting the r11 I had to write this review because I've never seen any type of product that was just that far ahead of the other top name brands.

White is Hot!

I hit the new R11 at the PGA Show Demo Day in Orlando last week and it was everything you would expect from Taylor Made…SOLID! The new white paint scheme was really nice…the matte finish reduces glare, the color makes the head appear larger thus breeding confidence, and the contrast between the black face and white crown allow you to easily align this club. Also, the 3 types of adjustments you can make on the R11 (Flight Control, Moveable Weights, & Adjustable Sole Plate) really enables you to not only get a driver that looks great at address but is practically custom fit for your swing. You can't go wrong with this driver! Great job Taylor Made!

Taylor Made has done it again!

Taylor Made golf is a company better than no other when it comes to drivers, their simply the best. They have the best drivers on tour, no doubt, but the best has just gotten better. Taylor Made had revolutionized the use of extremeley fast club head speed with the technology of their Burner Superfast driver. Players with an average of 95 MPH swing speeds have raised it to 100 MPh simply with weight reduction and aerodynamic technology. But sometimes, weight reduction isn't always a good thing. Weight reduction only deals with speed, not stability. That's why when you reduce weight in a car it can hit maximum speed, but one that car hits a slight bunmp, or the wheel turns slightly, the car can flip and become totaled. Taylor Made has utilized weight distribution in their "R" series of drivers. It all started with their R& driver which came out a few years ago, it had come with technology that no other company has been able to perfect, Movable weights. Movable weights help to control your balls flight path and help you shape your ball. These weights can help you cure a slice, or an extreme draw that you twend to have on your ball. But if you seem to be hitting your ball perfectly straight -just in the wrong direction- these wieghts can help you to obtain that slight draw that you've always wanted to take the right (or left) side of play out. And if you decide to remove the weights, that's perfectly acceptable to obtain a lighter driver, to help you obtain maximum speeds. Removable weights are only a part of the new R11 3-D tuning system. There are three complete dimensions of tuning on this club: Movable Weight Technology, Adjustable Sole Plate, and Flight Control Technology. The Adjustable Sole Plate helps to change the way your club sits on the ground without actually changing the loft of the club. Yuo have three different choices: Open, Neutral, or Closed. Each of these choices help to better your game and help you drive the ball straighter. Another aspect of this driver is the use of Flight Control Technology. Flight Control Technology changes the way you drive the ball in either a very small way, or a very big way, depending on how much you would like to utilize this feature. You are able to change the face angle, launch angle and the loft in the club. There are 8 different positions you can set this incorporated tool to be. The last feature of this Driver is not part of the 3-D tuning system, this driver is a full MATTE WHITE. There is absolutely no glare as compared to other drivers. This driver is an amazing choice to offer to consumers as well as Tour players. Taylor Made also gives everytone the chance to customize and mix and match their driver anyway they choose, just like Callaway's I-Mix program. Consumers have the chance to purchase Aldila, Fujikura, Matrix, and Mitsubishi shafts, depending on your preference and what suits you best. Thank you Taylor Made for giving us the chance to buy such a fined tuned driver to add to the arsenal of clubs in our bags.
