Description

The TaylorMade CGB Max 2008 irons have maximum technology for maximum speed, distance, forgiveness, and accuracy. They feature a large, thin, flexible, and fast clubface for a higher COR and more distance. The extra-large clubhead provides an ultra-high MOI that makes it extremely forgiving and easy to hit. Its Center of Gravity Back (CGB) makes launching the ball high and long incredibly easy for more carry and distance.

The graphite shaft sets the feel of weight at the head of the club for better control especially for seniors. The ball flight is higher which I love. Great club for seniors.

PERHAPS TAYLORMADE'S BEST EVER!

Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

An admitted TaylorMade fan, I have owned their clubs exclusively since their emergence as a tour leader. Thanks in part to weight inserts, the resulting low center of gravity and heavier feeling club head, combined with a light graphite shaft, these irons provide a confident feel of maximum power and swing-head speed. I have tried or owned every version of TaylorMade club since the early 90s and none matches the feel, playability and forgiveness of these irons. The light-weight heads on their newer irons and woods fail to produce that confidence. The woods in this model are also highly recommended for the same basic reasons. On-line counterfeits of this model abound, so avoid purchases except from known, trusted sources.

Great set!

These work as described... long and straight. As someone who played competitively in the past and don't play as often anymore, this is exactly what I was looking for.

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
