The Ben Hogan Apex Edge 2006 irons feature a forged cavity-back head with the perfect blend of forgiveness and feel. For all of Mr. Hogan's talent as a player, he also understood that not everyone possessed his level of exceptional skill. So he insisted that many of his creations be playable not only by the professional, but also by the better player and the player who aspires to be better. The Apex Edge irons are a testament to that vision.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

What is difference between Apex Edge and Apex Edge Pro? Thanks, Marc
asked by Marcus B. on 4/14/2017
The Apex edge is a little more forgiving for mid handicap players while the pro is designed for performance desired by low handicap players.

Before you buy newer....

Had Mizuno's.....MP-54, couldn't hit them well, the c-taper reg shaft just wasn't for my swing....switched to these and I'm much happier....got the reg apex shaft on these. The feel on these is much better. Obviously shafts can feel different depending on what you buy. It's a forged head but larger, and seems more forgiving. Top line is a little thicker, but you get use to it. It's the perfect club for a guy that wants the beauty and feel of forged but needs some help, and it's just as good I'd think as any new forged club out there costing 10 times more.

I have the Apex Plus forged 3-E and I must say that I am hitting higher quality shots and the clubs are in GREAT shape. Can't be happier with the clubs and Global Golf!

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
