I've got this club in a 17* 2 and a 21* 3. They're very easy to hit, and produce a nice looking ball flight. But I have found that they can be somewhat erratic in terms of distance. I've hit the 2 as much as 230 yards and as short as 180. And I don't mean on a shank. I always use this on a 220yd par-3 at my local course, and I've hit the thing well and had it roll off the back of the green, and hit the most perfect-feeling shot I've ever played with it and found my ball 30 yards short of the green. Don't get me wrong--I'm sure that my swing produced the lack of distance on the short shot. But I didn't hit it easy, or take anything off to make sure I made good contact. I let it fly. But I do tend to hit down on the ball with irons and hybrids. And that seems to be a bit of the issue. With so much weight below the ball, the more flush you hit this the more backspin you impart--especially with a downward swing. And small differences in swing path seem to really affect the distance the ball travels. Just something to keep in mind.
