The Adams Tight Lies fairway wood features a low center of gravity and large sweet spot. It is one of the most popular and most forgiving steel-headed fairway metals of all time. This is a great club and a great value for players of all skill levels.

Strong 5 is easy to hit
By Straightray on 12/4/2011

I hit this club ab. 190-200 Off the tee or fairway, the ball flys high,
when you ground the club the ball sits higher than the club head so you have more confidence,
If you can't hit with this maybe you should take up a different sport.

A1 Fairway

Handicap: 6-10  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Left Hand

Still one of the easiest fairway woods to get the ball in the air. Swing...hit....ball in air...!! Still amazing after all these years....I fee still easier to get in the air than the newer tight lies but lacks the distance. Started a revolution!

Still one of the best

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

For $10 you get one of the easiest clubs ever to use. Perfect for beginners and seniors, or if you're like me and you hit just about anything for the fun of it.

Plays Golf: I play monthly

One of the easiest woods I used! The head is shaped so that there is good turf interaction when you hit the ball. Personally, feels better than the newer Tight Lies although distance might be a disadvantage... Still love it!

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
