Fantastic

Handicap: 16-20  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

A good friend of mine works at the local golf store and gave me a sleeve of both of the Z-Star variations.

I fully expected to prefer the standard Z-Star over the XV since I have a swing speed that is quite a bit slower than the recommended range for the XV, but despite that, the Z-Star XV is now in my bag as my everyday gamer.

This ball is straight and long from the tee and the fairway, but soft and smooth off the putter face.

I still keep a handful of standard Z-Stars in the bag for colder weather. They are both phenomenal golf balls and I highly recommend trying both and deciding from there.

After years of playing the Pro V1X, I have found a replacement. The Z Star XV is more durable and great around the greens. The cheaper price doesn't hurt either!

Durable and high performance

Mostly bring a Pro v1x player, I wanted to try other similarly reviewed balls. Driver distance and control I would give edge to the Srixon. Mid and long iron control and spin go to the X but <100 yards the Srixon is above and beyond the X in my experience. Whether it be lofted shots or shorter more hit and sit shots the Srixon performed well throughout the round.. The Srixon durability is also better than the X and being cheaper is a win win

Long and great feel

Most tour balls have a harder feel when it's geared for higher swing speeds. This one feels great. I noticed I hit this one further that the Z Star and it's great for the really hot summer days!
