The new Odyssey White Ice D.A.R.T. putters feature the latest in advanced alignment technology, customizable perimeter weighting and a double-bend shaft. The mallet uses D.A.R.T. alignment technology to ensure better accuracy and promote consistent strikes for increased distance control. The White Ice Insert is the most popular multi-layer insert with advanced feel, developed after extensive feedback from players on Tour.
D.A.R.T. is an acronym for "direction and realignment technology" which is designed to promote proper alignment in a two-step process: 1) align the putter to the target and then 2) realign using the point at which the D.A.R.T. design merges with the center of the ball. This year, the White Ice insert has been refined for enhanced sound, responsiveness, resiliency, and consistency and the surface has also been roughened a bit for improved impact sound and to increase friction on the face, promoting forward roll.
Technology
Direction and Realignment - The 2-step process described above using the D.A.R.T. design ensures better alignment on the target line and also promotes consistent strikes on the center of the face for greater distance control.
White Ice Insert - The multi-layer insert has been fine-tuned to enhance sound, responsiveness, resiliency and consistency. The inner core is 19 percent firmer to enhance the feel and 92 percent stiffer for better resiliency, leading to consistent distance control.
Adjustable Weighting - Allows you to optimize the feel and performance based on your personal preference. Three available weight chips can be easily switched out on the sole of the putter, precisely dialing in the head weight at 350g, 360g, or 370g.
