Description

The Callaway RAZR X Tour irons feature RAZR technology which repositions the center of gravity to enhance playability and improve turf interaction, resulting in the forgiveness of a wide-sole iron without sacrificing the playability of a thin-sole iron. The new VFT Power System precisely positions the center of gravity and maximizes ball speed throughout the set. Its compact head shape and reduced offset with a thinner topline produces the aesthetics and the shot-shaping workability that better players prefer.

Condition Description

Clubs in Very Good Condition have been played with and cared for in an appropriate fashion. The markings that you will likely find on Very Good Condition products will show typical wear of models of its age. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Very Good Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Normal ball marks on the faces; minor scratching on the soles; no significant dings on the heads; no significant wear on the shafts.

razr x tour iron review

These are a beautiful set with a ton of technology and simplicity in perfect harmony. I loved the feel, which seemed to be quite generous on shots hit a little low on the face. Otherwise, the compact head at address looks great for those who want the simple look of a players club at address. This club should not be confused with a game improvement iron, with its minimal offset and thinner top line, it is geared toward those with moderately good to great ball striking ability. For comparison, this iron is more forgiving than the R9 tp irons, and less forgiving than the x-22. Hope that helps!

i have owned a few different sets pings s 57 ping isi bercopper wilson ci6 mizuno mp-30 and 32 iam a low handicap player and i have been in the market for a new set i have tried the titliest ap1-2 the adams tour models the r11 and i have tried the callaway razr tour and razor forged the two callaway clubs look identical almost at address, as i test hit both i actually kept coming back to the razr tour i love the feel and didnt think they feel dead at all and as a matter of fact when hit any where near the sweet spot they feel like butter i was able to work the ball left or right really easy. i usually have a really high ball flight and with these irons with the 5.5 flighted i was hitting a tour trajectory with a perfect little draw i love these irons and have just ordered me a set. If your in the market for new irons give these a try

These clubs have great lines and are for low handi-cap players. I have had multiple sets of Callaway irons and other clubs (including forged over the years), but these do not have the feel required for shot making. They feel very dead at impact, even on center hits. They have great distance and fly high, but the feel is not there. I would recommend the Razr X over the tour model for feel, but they will not cut thru the rough due to the larger club face size and flange.
