Description

The Cleveland 588 TT irons are engineered for a tour trajectory. They feature constant blade height throughout the set, with progressive blade length leading to more forgiveness in the long irons and a controlled, penetrating trajectory in the short irons. The modest cavity back with undercut improves ball speed and accuracy on off center-hits. Every iron has a forged face to enhance ball speed and feel and the multi-material insert of polymer and aluminum in the iron plaque dampens vibration at impact for more consistent feel.

588 TT By far the best iron ive ever hit!!

Straightest iron on the market hands down!!! 15yds + on all irons. Never thought I would leave Titleist...yoh have to hit this iron to believe it. The only con is that its too straight. Hard to work a slice or a hook in when needed.

Cleveland 588TT

I purchased a set of these irons at Carl's Golf Land in Michigan last week. I did not plan on buying them but after I did a complete swing review and did a heads up against 6 other iron sets...it became very apparent to me that these emerged to my top selection. I am a 4 h.c.p and they had a great feel, launch, speed, and a slight unique tone. I misfit a few to see the feedback and shot shape and I was again impressed. Now my wedges match my irons...imagine that...

588 TT - excellent feel

like wpolson I went into the store for new irons - Cleveland wasn't even on the list - as i was picking out my test group the look of the cleveland caught my eye and when i picked it up it just felt good - went to the testing area with all clubs in hand - cleveland, rbz, ping, titleist, callaway - after each club i hit i returned to the clevelands - the feel of this club is so sweet - tried to miss couple of shots and even the misses were landing somewhere around the green - really straight club - very consistent - but difficult to work the ball if you need to - all in all i think this club is a great transition club to go from game improvements to "better player" irons - got my set custom **** and looking forward to when they come in

A big step up from my Game Improvement Irons

Handicap: 16-20  Plays Golf: I play monthly  Dexterity: Right Hand

I'm very happy and excited, as these 588 TT's are a real step up from the set of game improvement irons (X-22's) that I traded to get these. Global Golf made it pretty easy.

These are substantial irons, and look cool at address; sleek. Being on the Golf Digest Hot List is a big plus for me and got me to keep an open mind to Cleveland. I'm looking to drop strokes on approach and green side; these should fit the bill.

The notched weighting, cavity slot in the back and PU padding give off positive feedback...I play an e6 ball...it's muted, but not numbed. I can get 220 off the 4 iron with moderate effort. These irons hit straight, high and far; pretty easy to get the ball in the air on tight lie. There is potential to work the ball a bit. CG forged irons will be the next step after these!
