The Tour Edge Exotics CB3 Tour driver features a 430cc head with a 15-3-3-3 Beta titanium cup face, crown, and neck with a heavier steel sole, fused together utilizing the no-weld Combo-Brazing process. Its higher center of gravity, in combination with the titanium cup face and steel sole, creates a tour-preferred trajectory for longer, more penetrating drives and more shot-shaping capability.

TourEdge Exotics CB3 Tour Driver

Bought a 9 degree--Changed shaft to DVS stiff and length to 46 1/4 in. Had been hitting Cobra Speed pro D for years. 8 hdcp.--Avg drive with Cobra was 285 yds. I am hitting this Exotics over 300 yds. with more to go. Great roll--Now have the driver, 13 deg. 3 Wd and 16.5 4 Wd, 18 deg. and 24 deg. hybrids--Absolutely best and longest clubs I hv ever hit in 35 + yrs. of golf. Wish they built better irons so I could be all TourEdge Exotics. Just magnificent woods. Buy some and get the shaft right and your distance will become the talk of your group.

CB3 Review

I added this driver to my bag last year, and then "upgraded" only to find that I really missed this club. I cannot tell you how fun it is to hit this driver.

For me, it had a perfectly flat, mid-trajectory ball flight. If it landed in the fairway, it would get plenty of roll as well.

Looking down on it, you can see the straight lines going all the way across the face of the club, which gives the impression that it is a big face. For me, this inspired a ton of confidence. I had no problem adding a fade or draw to the ball flight when necessary. In fact, it was almost simple to put it where I wanted it without worrying that I was going to put too much on it.

The best part was the feel and sound you received from hitting the CB3 solid. The sound is a powerful, short, deep, "boom" that lets everyone know you just sent a ball flying. The feel is crisp and solid. This combination of feel and sound in a driver is amazing. I did get more distance with my "upgrade", but that does equate to lower scores, unfortunately. This club is an all around performer, and should be on anyone's list of clubs to try, even if it is a year old.

Tour Performance

I picked up this club at the beginning of this year. I had been hitting drives that were constantly ballooning, resulting in a decrease in distance. The CB3 does a great job at raising the COG slightly higher, to produce a more penetrating ball flight.
