I've spent $400 on drivers but never over $125 on a putter. Let's face it. Everyone wants to hit a bomb off the tee but, rarely do you get much accolades for putting, although that is where you can save strokes. I tried to rationalize spending over $300 on this putter and the best I could come up with was...you hit a $400 driver a maximum of 14 times per round but will put approximately 36-40 times per round. I took the plunge and got this putter for Christmas. It was the best money I've ever spent on golf equipment. I never even practiced with it. I took it straight to the course. I hit 5 putts outside 15 feet with it. It's so balanced and keeps the putting plane like nothing I've ever seen. My playing partner said, "I guess that putter has paid for itself." I couldn't be happier with a club. It's worth every penny.
Obviously the putter is key for most golfers and this one is worth it. This club is as valuable as any other club in your bag so make it a good one. The stability, feel and overall quality are there.
