Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can '09
Titleist BV Vokey Design
DescriptionThe Titleist Vokey Spin Milled 2009 wedges feature a CNC machine cut face and grooves that increases friction and have 30-percent more groove volume than conventional wedges, creating more consistent, higher spin even from grassy lies or wet conditions. The profile of each wedge is precisely milled to blend the size, shape, topline thickness, and offset from loft to loft.
Condition DescriptionClubs in Good Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Good Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Good Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear.

I currently own the Titleist Vokey Oil can wedges in 56 and 60 degree. There's a reason these wedges consistently win the Golf Digest Hot List gold awards - they are simply in a class of their own. While every level of player can benefit from these wedges, I would only recommend them for better players (10 handicap or less).
Incredible feel - Not only do these feel buttery soft when good contact is made, you will KNOW when you've mishit. These wedges give excellent feedback all over the face.
Excellent spin - The famous "spin-milled" face and square grooves impart ridiculous levels of spin on all shot types.
Great turf interaction - the soles interact with both turf and sand in above-average fashion.
Small sweet spot - these are for better players....don't expect a whole lot of forgiveness. Mishits on the toe or heel take 30-40% off the distance they would otherwise travel.
Sharp grooves = torn balls - the spin-milled face and sharp grooves will rip up your balls, especially on full swing and sand shots.
All-in-all, the Vokeys do not disappoint and are still the go-to wedges for tour pros and better amateurs. The oil can finish on these in particular looks great and sets up quite nicely.
