Description

ZX4 delivers an incredible address profile with outstanding, powerful forgiveness. These irons feature Mainframe technology, a milled pattern on the backside of the face to optimizes COR for faster ball speed and more distance with every shot. A hollow design enhances forgiveness across the face for high-flying, straight shots. Progressive grooves in the 8i through PW are sharper, narrower and deeper for more spin and stopping power on approach shots onto the greens. The exceptional look and powerful forgiveness that ZX4 brings makes this iron set accessible to a whole new class of players.

Features

  • Tour V.T. Sole - A V-shaped sole glides smoothly through the turf, even if striking slightly behind the ball.
  • Multi-Piece Construction - Forged HT1770 steel face increases speed and distance, the 431 Steel body absorbs vibrations for softer feel, and tungsten in the base of the long and mid irons lowers the CG for higher launch.
  • Mainframe - Unique face design features a variable thickness pattern maximizes COR for more ball speed and distance.
  • Hollow Design - Added forgiveness makes it easier to pure the long irons.

Q
I am 67 shoot between 76-84 should I go to senior shaft or stay at regular?
asked by Bruce B. on 7/11/2021
A
That will have more to do with your club head speed. Senior flex is recommended for driver swing speeds below 85 mph.

Srixon ZX4 Irons

Hollow, Incredibly Forgiving Game-Improvement Iron

The new ZX4 Irons by Srixon are the most forgiving iron ever created by the company. Its hollow body design and sleek appearance make it the premier game improvement iron under the Srixon name.

Ball Speed Increase from MainFrame Face Design

Crafted with a combination of Human and Artificial Intelligence, the ZX4 Irons utilize an all-new MainFrame Face Design. This technology gives each head a variable thickness between the grooves, cavities, and other channels found in the head. This pattern is used to maximize COR, leading to higher ball speeds and increased distance.

srixon zx4 iron toe

Multi-Piece Construction Combines for Guaranteed Results

The ZX4 Irons utilize high density tungsten in the toe of the long and mid irons, which is crucial in lowering the Center of Gravity and producing high launching shots. The HT1770 Steel that makes up the face of the ZX4 Irons helps to increase ball speed at impact, and the 431 Steel body absords vibrations at impact to produce soft feel and incredible sound.

srixon zx4 iron sole

Tour V.T. Sole Provides Smooth Turf Interaction

On the sole of the ZX4 Irons is Srixon's new Tour V.T. Sole. This new sole technology improves turf interaction for enhanced feel in every swing. The soles of the ZX4 Irons also feature Srixon's classic sole notches, which help to provide extra workability to every swing without sacrificing any forgiveness.

Progressive Grooves Give You Spin Where You Need It

The groove structure of the ZX4 Irons is progressive, meaning your longer-mid irons (4i - 7i) have a wider groove structure than shorter irons (8i - PW). This is to give you consistent results throughout the bag and provide desired spin where you need it.
