The Ping G700 iron is Ping’s longest, highest-flying iron to date. The G700 iron features a 17-4 stainless steel head with hollow-body construction and internal geometry design that greatly increases ball speed for launching the ball higher and farther. The C300 maraging steel face generates twice the face flexing to increase ball speed and distance while the low and extreme heel-toe perimeter weighting ensures high inertia and tightens dispersion. The sole width, bounce and offset allow for better turf interaction to improve ball striking. The G700 iron also features a clean cavity, hydropearl plating and polished accent for a confidence inspiring address view.

  • Hollow-Body construction allows the face to flex more for higher ball speeds
  • C300 Maraging steel face flexes more to add ball speed to shots hit across the face
  • Forgiving sole design has better turf interaction for consistent shots that are still workable and launch high
  • More perimeter weighting in the heel and toe increase MOI (forgiveness) and balance the CG location throughout the set

How much additional cost do I have to pay as custom duty for these irons when GlobalGolf ships them to the UK?
asked by Bams A. on 3/29/2018
You would need to contact your country's customs office. We do not have any control over those additional charges. Thank you.

Thanks Global Golf for the 30 day playability guarantee. I just knew I was going to fall in love with these irons. I hit them at my local golf shop and was in love so I thought. After one round of golf these irons looked like I had owned them for over a year. The finish on the 'W' on the back of the pitching wedge chipped off. Every club I hit during that round had places where the glossy finish had worn off. I know golf clubs are supposed to get light scratches on the sole of the club which doesn't bother me, but this was just too much. Had to send them back. Also, after getting out on the course with the G700s I really like the feel of the Ping G irons better and didn't really notice any difference in distance between the two.

Long forgiving irons! Sound a bit hollow but the fly forever. Decently consistent distance control for irons in this category. Winners

Technology / Specs

The PING G700 irons are a game improvement iron that yields better distance and accuracy thanks to the following features.

Hollow Body Construction

PING makes the 17-4 stainless steel body of the G700 irons hollow. This design makes the head stable and forgiving while maintaining high COR for ball speed and distance.

Maraging Steel Face

The face on the G700 irons are made from C300 maraging steel. This strong material lets the face be made thinner and flex more for higher ball speed.

Forgiving Sole

A wide sole with ample bounce on the G700 irons interact with the turf better, attaining consistent contact and distance control.

The G700 irons are a clean looking iron that pack a punch for easy distance. The chart below has the stock specs and shafts available, including "Power Spec" lofts to really give you distance.
