Description

The TaylorMade M4 irons are designed to be the longest in the TM irons lineup and feature RIBCOR technology to increase distance and forgiveness as well as stiffen the perimeter of the head creating a more rigid structure for better sound and feel. Heel and toe weighting is optimized to provide a significant increase in MOI for more forgiveness while the ultra-thin leading edge works with the Speed Pocket to increase speed on low-face shots. The Fluted Hosel and 360° undercut allows for redistribution of mass low in the head to increase launch distance, and consistency.

Condition Description

The face slots allow for more distance and forgiveness. The short irons are designed more for feel and control as they are the scoring clubs.

Great Clubs but poor service from Global Golf

Handicap: 6-10  Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

Order a set of Taylormade M4 irons from Global Golf. They were listed as Very Good Condition. Paid and extra $20 to have 2nd day delivery. Ordered on a Thursday afternoon but did not receive them until Tuesday, 5 days later. When the clubs arrived they had no packing around the clubs, just a rubber band around the shaft. Clubs had been banging against each other during shipping. Contacted Global Golf customer service, but they would not do anything. I felt that my $20 shipping fee should have been refunded. I would recommend the Taylormade M4 irons, as they are very forgiving and have a solid feel. I will not ever purchase anything from Global Golf, and do not recommend them.

I have played golf for forty years and these are my first set of Taylor Made Clubs. All I can say is WOW. These are the best, most for giving, and longest clubs I have ever played.

If you have lost distance in your golf swing. The M4's are the fountain of youth for your golf game. I hit them so well, I decided to add the 4 iron to my set. Very easy to hit and gives and long an penetrating ball flight.

New Taylormade M4

Love the feel of these clubs. Only way I can describe the difference in the M4’s to my Taylormade speedblades is that the speedblades felt like I was using an older aluminum bat when hitting the ball vs. the M4’s felt like I was using a composite bat with the trampoline effect. Huge difference in forgiveness and distance. Great irons.

Technology / Specs

The TaylorMade M4 irons are ultra forgiving and very long. Here's a breakdown of the features you'll find in these irons.

RibCOR Technology

RibCOR technolgy incorporates 2 vertical ribs into the head design, located toward the heel and toe of the club. These ribs stabalize the thin face and topline, keeping the COR (energy transfer) to the golf ball high for maximum distance on shots hit across the face.

Low CG Design

To improve the CG location, TaylorMade took weight out of the fluted hosel and the 360° Undercut on the top line of the M4 irons. The weight is moved low in the head to improve launch conditions and improve forgiveness.

Face Slots and Speed Pocket

Redesigns to the Face Slots and Speed Pocket deliver more ball speed on shots hit across the club face. The Face Slots help shots hit towards the heel and toe. The Speed Pocket on the sole increases ball speed on shots hit low on the face. The overall result is more forgiveness and distance.
