Description

The Callaway Rogue Draw driver combines the power of Jailbreak Technology and X-Face VFT Technology to promote high ball speed and long distance while added weight in the heel moves the CG inward, enhancing gear effect on open-faced impacts to minimize slice-spin or promote draw- spin. With the help of Boeing, Speed Step Technology has been improved by redefining the geometry of the leading edge to improve airflow for faster head speed. The Rogue Draw features the largest ever carbon composite crown surface area in a Callaway driver and new high-MOI shape with larger address footprint to increase stability and forgiveness.

Very nice driver

This version only came in a 9 degree loft which is pretty low for me. After a few trial shots I bumped the loft up 2 degrees and that helped me quite a lot. I tend the fade/slice and play the right side of the course most of the time. With this club I'm more in the middle and in some cases I get to see what the left side of a golf course looks like. It's like playing a whole other golf course! When struck well the ball screams off of the face of this club. Although I don't tend to hit the ball hi with this club I'm getting 20-40 yards of roll. I'm 65 and play to a 16 handicap and with this club I have hit 250 yard drives, certainly not all the time but enough to keep the club.

My best driver ever

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

Just received my Callaway Rogue Draw Driver took it to the course missed on 3 fairways and the 3 fairways I missed I was still able to reach the green birding one of the holes. Had a Ping 400 Max love that driver but decided to give Rogue a try boy I was surprised how straight my drives were plus a little longer than my Ping. Ping felt better but the Rogue was straighter and was able to hit my drives a little longer. My buying experience with Global Golf was great been buying golf clubs from them for many years. Bought my Rogue used in excellent condition but looked in mint condition almost like new. Thank you Global Golf.

Great Driver Changed The Game for Me

Handicap: 16-20  Plays Golf: I play monthly  Dexterity: Right Hand

I have been hitting a Cobra Fly-Z driver for the last 4 years. When I first got it, I loved it because it was the first non-walmart driver I owned. However, 9-10 I was hitting a ridiculous slice. Like I would walk up to the tee box and aim so far left people would as what I was doing, to then find out it was my only shot to be on the fairway and even then it was touch and go. I started working on my grip/swing and saw some improvement, but thought I just wanted a new driver and a clean slate. I made the right choice without a doubt. I have the Callaway Rouge Draw in a 9 loft, stiff shaft and I am driving the ball over 220 yards regularly, which is a big deal for me. At the range the other day I was driving 250 and even rolled out a 270 (not exactly just using rough estimates with a range finder). But as I was hitting this for the first time, I couldn&apost help but to just smile and laugh. It was a huge boost to my confidence and honestly reignited some passion for golf. It&aposs always fun when you can get out there and just watch the ball go somewhere other than the woods or right. It&aposs been a joy playing the left side of the golf course. I would of course recommend going in somewhere and testing it out, but it&aposs a great club and if you find it at the right price, its worth it. It&aposs staying in my bag for a long time coming.

So far so.....great

Handicap: 21+  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

I am using this Driver in the Neutral setting and so far i am loving it. Second round i hit 9 of 14 FW's compared to 2 or 3 in the previous rounds with a Cobra F8 in the Draw position and weight placement. I haven't had to try the draw setting yet on the Rogue as my misses have not been too drastic. Yardage is good also,i am getting an extra 5-15 yds on my drives and with a good rollout, sometimes 20 yds. So more fairways amd a little more distance equals a great club. Of course,YMMV but if you fight a slice i would give it a try.

Technology / Specs

The Callaway Rogue drivers improve on the successful design of the GBB Epic drivers with these new features.

Engineers changed the design of their Jailbreak Technology in the Rogue drivers to deliver more ball speed and forgiveness. The new Jailbreak bars have a more “hourglass” shape that is 25% lighter than before. The saved weight is moved to strategic parts of the club head to increase forgiveness.

A new larger triaxial carbon crown also contributes weight savings, and therefore, more forgiveness to the Rogue drivers. It also makes the club head look bigger than the GBB Epic at address. A bigger head inspires confidence in being able to hit the club well.

Callaway again teamed up with Boeing to improve the aerodynamics of the Rogue drivers. The redesigned Speed Step on the crown improves airflow throughout the entire swing.

You’ll also notice the absence of a sliding weight on the sole of the Rogue drivers. The company found that the majority of golfers didn’t change the weight once they had it set. Taking the sliding weight out saves weight that is moved elsewhere for more added forgiveness.

The Callaway Rogue Draw driver is perfect for the golfer struggling with the dreaded "s" word. Weight is placed toward the heel of the club, letting the toe close faster making it easier to hit a draw.

Below is a list of the stock loft, shaft, and dexterity options for the Rogue driver.
