Incredible Spin

These wedges spin the ball as much as you are physically capable of spinning a wedge. They don't feel as soft as the newer wave of forged wedges from a variety of manufacturers, but the action is there. I describe the softness comparison as the difference between hitting a Chrome Soft (e.g. with a Mack Daddy forged) and a Pro V1 (Glide 2.0). So not a big difference, and feel is high quality on both. It actually seems to me like the slightly harder feel of the Glide 2.0 gives better feedback so that even if you stuff it close, you know if there was a little mishit--likewise, you know instantly if it was pure regardless of the result. The longer grip is really useful in creating reliable, repeatable shots. Finally, the AWT 2.0 Wedge flex shaft are really great and compliment the NS pro modus 105 X shafts I use in 4-pw. Nippon, of course, manufactures the AWT 2.0s, but they're a little heavier which seems to help feel and a bit softer flex for spinning partial shots.

Great Wedge.. have played Vokey models for the last 8 years, tried these out. Very happy. Great distance on full shots. TONS of spin. Great control and trap around the greens. "Glides" through sticky wet grass w ease. 5 Stars on feel. 5 on distance. 5 on spin. 5 on workability

Great club. Got a super deal on it lightly used through global golf. Very accurate. Lots of spin. Ping makes great products. I was satisfied with the club until I tried the latest 3.0 version of it at a big box store. The improvements are noticeable. I Plan to try the 3.0 with the utry program this summer and potentially upgrade.

I got this 60 degree Lob Wedge and the grooves were really sharp. This wedge puts a lot of spin on the ball, too much really if I take a full swing. Really Happy!!!

I bought a 60 thinking it would be great for flop shots around the greens. I usually play 58, so I thought there would be an adjustment period, but I just couldn't dial in the distances and ended up taking it out of the bag. It may have been loft related, or the sole grind I am not sure. feel was good, spin was fine, I just couldn't dial in the distances on shots around the greens with it
