Description

The Big Bertha Fusion driver pushes the boundaries of forgiveness like no Callaway club ever has with its revolutionary design. The driver features EXO-CAGE, which is an aerospace-grade titanium exoskeleton. The rest of the club head is made with ultra-strong triaxial carbon. This unique fusion of materials increases the driver’s forgiveness on mishits because it raises the moment of inertia (MOI). To further improve the accuracy of off-center ball strikes, Callaway has strategically placed 35.4 grams of weight into areas of the club head that optimize the center of gravity. The Big Bertha Fusion driver also features enhanced aerodynamics for faster club head speeds with Callaway’s Speed Step technology. Standard length drivers are 45.5". 44.5" is available through custom only

Technology / Specs

Callaway combines a light-weight triaxial crown with a titanium Exo-Cage to create the extremely forgiving Big Bertha Fusion driver. Using these elements allows the designers to place the saved weight around the head to create the forgiveness.

The Big Bertha Fusion driver also has a unique head shape. The shape makes the head more aerodynamic, increasing clubhead speed and distance. The head shape moves the CG back and towards the perimeter to create more forgiveness.

The crown of the Big Bertha Fusion driver has Speed Step technology. This aerodynamic feature reduces drag throughout the swing to increase swing speed.
