Description

The Ping G Irons not only look good, but are built to provide distance and forgiveness. The stainless steel club head construction features heat treatment to increase the strength of the material by 40%. This allows Ping to implement a thinner face, adding an additional 5 yards of carry to each club. These irons also feature Cor-Eye Technology to increase face flex for faster ball speeds of 1.25 MPH across the face, giving you improved distance and control. The weight on these irons is concentrated in the perimeter of the club. This allows for an increase in Moment of Inertia, or MOI, for consistency and accuracy. Ping has also given these irons a deeper center of gravity to provide a higher launch, more distance, and more control, all factors to help you hit and hold more greens.

Do you have Ping G LH iron set in stock or does it come from Ping
asked by Christian S. on 8/24/2016
A
At this time we only have one set of Ping G LH iron sets in stock that are located at our facility. We do not have the ability to order directly from the manufacturer at this time. Please follow the link below for details on the set that is currently available. Please be sure to read the specs to make sure they will fit your swing as it is not a standard specification set. https://www.globalgolf.com/golf-clubs/1034493-ping-g-iron-set-left-hand/

Q
Does this set have a sand wedge also?
asked by Steven C. on 10/9/2016
A
If SW is specifically mentioned in the product details, the sand wedge will be included. If it is not, there is not a Sand Wedge included. Some sets will include it and some will not.

Q
I've heard that the standard lie for G irons is the yellow dot and not black, is that correct?
asked by Paul L. on 11/11/2016
A
The standard lie angle is still the black dot. For some reason, Ping has decided to list the specs on their website when pulling up the G irons with the yellow dot lie angle. This information is stated in very small font on ping.com under the specs of the G irons. Please follow the link below for details. http://www.ping.com/clubs/ironsdetail.aspx?id=20215

The GW will be the U wedge. In between the pitching wedge and sand wedge.

Great Irons
By Gregory F. on 10/9/2017

Over the last 3 months I have played with 4 sets of irons and these are my favorite. I liked the looks of the Ping I e better however these look good for a G iron. Very forgiving, high and straight. You can still work the ball and are confidence inspiring. The AWT steel shaft is also excellent. I'm 68 and my hcp is 15-18.

Outstanding irons!
By Chris M. on 7/12/2017

These clubs are easy to hit and are long. I started off the season with the new Callaway Steelheads which were pretty good sticks but I bought the Ping Gs and haven't looked back. Both sets are long but the Pings are more forgiving. Like all Ping G series are excellent choices these are my favorites and I've owned them all. My buddies have accused me of being a club renter I've had so many sets but these will be in the bag for a long time which is really saying something for me. Long high and straight usually makes golfers happy so I say try em.
