Description

The TaylorMade M2 iron set features materials and technologies that combine metalwood like launch conditions with class leading shot height for maximum distance. The large, unsupported, thin face and new Speed Pocket allow ball speeds that push the limits of distance performance in an iron. By employing weight saving technology like the L shaped toe design, 360° undercut and the new thick-thin fluted hosel, the ultra-low CG gives the ability to utilize stronger lofts without sacrificing peak trajectory and playability. The M2 also features a new V-shaped badge that provides great sound, while dampening unwanted vibrations for excellent feel.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

This product may be an ARP or DEMO club.

Q
What is the difference between the Taylormade M -2 and the Taylormade r7 CGB golf clubs? Is it really worth it to trade up to the newer clubs?
asked by Richard K. on 8/27/2016
A
The R7 CGB were released in 2005 and the M2 were released in 2016. Technology has definitely improved in an 11-year time period so they are very different clubs. They are both very forgiving sets but have different aspects to them where improvements have been made to affect overall performance. Please follow the link below for more detailed information. http://taylormadegolf.com/product-specs.html

Q
What is the difference between the Taylormade M2 and the Taylormade R11 golf clubs? Is it really worth it to trade up to the newer clubs?
asked by Joselito V. on 9/29/2016
A
The M2 features many improvements in technology. Weight saving designs allow the CG to be placed lower increasing forgiveness and providing higher launch capabilities. This allows for stronger lofts to be used without resulting in lower shots helping to increase distance. The unsupported face also contributes to the large distance increase seen with these irons. Finally, the new badge in the back of the club helps dampen vibrations and sound resulting in better feel.

Q
what is the diference between m2 and aero burner irons
asked by H F. on 10/7/2016
A
They are both very forgiving and high launching iron sets. The main difference will be the new technology in the M2 iron set compared to the Aeroburner. Please follow the 2 links below for more information and refer to the information below the description. https://www.globalgolf.com/golf-clubs/1034430-taylormade-m2-iron-set/ https://www.globalgolf.com/golf-clubs/1031229-taylormade-aeroburner-iron-set/used/

Q
What is the difference between Taylor made m2& titleist ap 1
asked by Troy L. on 12/16/2016
A
The M2 and AP1 are very similar in that they are targeted mainly for mid to high handicap players. Performance wise, the M2 is known to be a bit longer while the AP1 is a little more on the performance and control side.

The TaylorMade M2 Irons

The TaylorMade M2 Irons are designed for golfers who prioritize distance, trajectory, forgiveness and feel. The irons are equipped with a propriety-fluted hosel, 360-degree undercut, Inverted Cone Technology (ICT), 3D Badge and Speed Pocket Technology.

A flute hosel design removes discretionary mass and redistributes it lower and deeper in the clubhead. The hosel works in tandem with the Speed Pocket and a thin face with Inverted Cone Technology. Both features increase launch angle and ball speed while providing increased forgiveness for shots struck low on the face.
