I wanted to get a set of irons that were a little more forgiving since I recently had back surgery worhing a right to left ball wasnt in the cards anymore. I gave it a try based on different people saying the club was " Forgiving". The club doesnt quite have the feel on off hit shots. But they do give you a good ball flight and the club has a good weight. If i were to do it again i would buy the Kings as they are weighted better. Overall a solid club.
I tried to find a set of irons that would improve my game and make it more enjoyable. After much research I found these, and boy am I glad. Bought these after trying them at a local Golf store. All I can say is I tried the 7 iron. It went super straight and about 20 yards longer than my best. I am a 22+ handicapper. I can't wait to play a round with these. They were very comfortable and set up so nice and square with zero effort. PS I got the steel shafts. Thank you Cobra
The Cobra Max Iron Set has an extremely deep undercut perimeter creates the largest unsupported face ever in Cobra irons for more distance out the middle and forgiveness on off-center hits. A progressive construction through the set to create more feel, distance, control, precision and forgiveness. The long irons (3-5) have a full hollow design and face insert that delivers a low CG and highly responsive face. The mid-irons (4-8) have a half hollow design with an extremely thin face and optimal CG positioning. The short irons (9-PW) are cavity-backed for a low-and-back CG that creates more spin and added control. The specialty wedge design (GW-SW) offers versatility and control around the greens.
There’s also Progressive Spin Technology with CNC Milled Grooves. V-Grooves in the 4-6 irons reduce spin and increase distance, U-Grooves in the 7-PW optimize spin for approach shots and wedge spaced grooves on the GW-SW create extra spin.
