The TaylorMade AeroBurner driver is TaylorMade’s fastest and most aerodynamic driver ever. It features a 460cc aerodynamic shape designed with rounder toe, raised center crown, reduced drop from crown to skirt and new hosel fin. The new Open Channel Speed Pocket is the largest speed pocket designed so far, and increases the size of the sweet spot and reduces spin. This driver has a matte white finish, black PVD face and linear AeroBurner crown graphic to make alignment easy.

Is this club adjustable?
asked by Joe G. on 11/6/2015
Unlike the R-15 driver, the AeroBurner does not have adjustability, thus the printed loft on the head you select will be fixed.

I was wondering if you knew anything about the replacement of the aeroburner? I was about to purchase this club because of the special promotion. If I was to go ahead and buy, what is your return policy in case I like what taylormade shows up with at the pga show. Do you believe you will have this promotion again after the pga show?
asked by Jeremy S. on 1/14/2016
TaylorMade has not officially released any information on the replacement for the current Aeroburner Driver. We have a 30-day return policy on our website. Please click on "Returns Information" under Customer Service at the bottom of the home page for additional information. This promotion will most likely continue from this point forward since it is a price drop, and not simply on sale at this time.

What's the difference between 15* loft and 9.5* loft?
asked by Wilfred W. on 6/2/2016
The 15 degree will launch the ball much higher in comparison to a 9.5 degree. Someone with a faster swing-speed will generally need a lower lofted driver and golfers with a slower swing-speed will need a higher lofted driver.

I am 65 years old. Would a Stiff flex suit me? Or, would a Senior or Regular flex be better for me?
asked by Wilfred W. on 6/2/2016
The shaft flex will be determined by your swing-speed. I would recommend doing a driver fitting to see the correct shaft flex for you based on how fast you are swinging the club. There are other factors involved as well in choosing the correct shaft flex that a driver fitting can help with.

My swing speed is 82-84 Should I go to senior flex or regular flex on a12 deg Aero burner
asked by Marlin R. on 6/23/2016
A swing speed of 82-84 miles per hour could work for either a senior or regular flex shaft. Another factor that could help in making this determination is your tempo. If you tend to swing with a quick tempo, you would want to go with a regular flex. A slower, smooth tempo would work better with the senior flex. Another consideration would be how you would like the trajectory to be as a more flexible shaft will tend to hit the ball a little higher and make it easier to work the ball.

would is the sweet spot different bewteen r-15 and aeroburner 12 loft
asked by Ernest B. on 7/3/2016
The Aeroburner driver will have a larger sweet spot compared to the R15 due to the larger hitting surface.

What is difference between regular, stiff and senior flex?
asked by Hemant V. on 11/8/2016
The main difference in the three flexes has to do with how easily they bend, or flex, during the swing. Senior flex is designed to flex at slower speeds while stiff flex needs a higher speed to bend. The flexing of the shaft is critical in that it provides distance and too much of it can cause issues with accuracy. The following link gives more information on shaft flex and how to choose the correct one: https://www.globalgolf.com/articles/selecting-the-right-golf-club-shaft/

I'm a 16 handicap with an 85-90 mph swing speed. I'm looking to pickup the aeroburner driver but with my work schedule I won't be able to go hit one before the sale ends. In your opinion would I be better with a 10.5 or 12 degree loft. The price is so good that it's worth a shot and if it doesn't suit me I have friends who probably grab it from me. Thank you for your thoughts.
asked by Richard H. on 12/22/2016
Based on your swing-speed only, I would recommend a 10.5 degree. The 12 degree will most likely launch too high resulting in a loss of distance.

What is the difference between the TM graphite vs matrix speed rul-50 regular flex shafts?
asked by Reed B. on 1/7/2017
I apologize for the confusion as this appears to be a listing issue on our end. One person that listed the club online notated the shaft as being the TaylorMade graphite and another person notated the shaft as being the Matrix Speed RUL-Z 50. It should have only been listed as the Matrix Speed RUL-Z 50 which is the stock shaft in the Aeroburner driver.

With a swing speed of 86 mph and a smooth swing...would a areo burner with a 9.5 loft and stiff shaft work for me ?
asked by Charles M. on 6/28/2017
At 86 mph, stiff would be difficult to hit. Senior flex is meant for speeds 85 or lower and regular is meant for 86-95. As your tempo is described as smooth, I would suggest going with the Senior flex.

This is one my favorite drivers of all time. Went from a g30 to this and never been more happy. The only reason for 4 stars is there's no adjustments. You won't be disappointed if you get one of these.

Good driver

Great GG deal, fast shipping. Very light driver good for my gradually slowing swing. Tends to pull left but easier to correct than a slice. Good distance. Not an M1, but typical solid Taylormade driver.

The TaylorMade AeroBurner Driver

The TaylorMade AeroBurner driver takes speed to the extreme. The performance of the driver has been enhanced due to the Speed Pocket in the sole of the driver, as well as the improved aerodynamics that deliver maximum speed and distance for all golfers.

The aerodynamic design of the AeroBurner driver will increase your clubhead speed immediately. The center of the crown is raised, in relation to the toe and heel portions, which keeps the airflow aspect in play longer to reduce drag. There’s also a fin on the Aero Hosel which helps guide airflow and reduce the amount of drag. The Speed Pocket has increased in size to allow for a larger effective sweet spot and reduced spin on golf shots so you’ll be hitting it straighter and further.

The TaylorMade AeroBurner driver is available in 9.5, 10.5, and 12 degrees of loft. The Matrix Speed RUL-Z 50 will come as the stock shaft for the driver. This shaft is new and lightweight which matches the mantra of speed of the AeroBurner driver.
