Description

The TaylorMade R15 TP Driver is TaylorMade’s most technologically advanced driver ever. 15 years of their groundbreaking metal woods technologies from the #1 driver in golf have been fused with brand new innovations into a single, game-changing design. The new Front Track system, which now includes split sliding weights, performs like a Speed Pocket, reduces spin and increases the size of the sweet spot. R15’s Center of Gravity has been moved even lower and more forward to promote a higher launch and lower spin to increase distance. The TP model comes stock with the Fujikura Speeder 661 Evolution TS shaft. Several aftermarket shafts and grips are available to customize your R15. This driver is finished in a satin white paint.

Features

  • New Front Track system performs like a Speed Pocket, reduces spin and increases size of sweet spot
  • New sliding split weights: heel for draw, toe for fade, split for maximum stability (12.5g each / 25g total)
  • 4° loft sleeve for greater loft adjustability and opportunity to dial in your launch conditions
  • Center of Gravity (CG) lower and more forward to promote higher launch and lower spin

Q
What is the difference between the speeder 757 to other shafts?
asked by Rogelio E. on 3/8/2016
A
We will be happy to assist you with choosing the correct shaft based on your needs. Our Customer Service Department can be reached by dialing 866-843-0262. Since there are at least 12 different shaft options listed, there is simply not enough room to post all of the differences when answering the question online.

Q
Looking at buying a new driver. Would like a R15 TP 460. Wondering what would be the best shaft to go with. Looking at 9.5 degree. Want something I can hit consistently
asked by Benjamin P. on 4/11/2016
A
I would highly recommend visiting your local PGA Professional for a driver fitting. Based on the information that you provided, I would not be able to make the best recommendation. They will be able to check your swing-speed, ball speed, launch angle, and other important information necessary to make the best shaft recommendation for your swing. After receiving this information, we will be happy to assist you in finding the best shaft for your swing.

Awesome distance! 25-30 yards longer then my R-9 and the draw setting actually works, taking 80-90% of my fade out!!! Wow! As advertised!!!!!

Got this in 12 degrees to move on from my R9. Was listed as Value condition, but the shaft, sole, and clubface are more like excellent; the only issue is a paint chip on the crown. I was sort of wary of such high loft since reducing loft adds fade bias. I was pleasantly surprised. The good drives came more frequently and did just as well, while the bad swings/strikes stayed near target and maintained respectable distance. Love it, looks like a gamer for the next 3+ years!

Just started golfing about 6 months ago. Couldn't hit a driver straight to save my life before buying this club.I can now hit it straight as an arrow and far. Club is very forgiving. Bought it in very good condition had some ball marks on the face, but looked great. Best purchase I've by far.

Solid club but wasn't for me

I bought one with the Rogue Silver shaft and the specs for me should have been perfect but I just couldn't feel the clubhead during the swing. It was solid feeling and I wanted it to work but it just didn't agree with me. For some people this could be a great driver.
