Description

The Cleveland CG Black fairway is built for increasing club head speed through the impact position. The center of gravity has been moved lower and deeper toward the back of the club head for higher launch angle with optimal spin and playability. The CG Black fairway uses lower swing MOI and a lower center of gravity to increase launch angle and increase carry for Seniors and Women. The new line of CG Black woods feature an advanced face thickness to reduce the carry loss on off-center hits. They are now offered in more lofts than ever before so golfers can optimize their bag.

Q
What is the weight of this club in grams? Is the regular flex similar to the senior flex?
asked by Martin O. on 10/17/2016
A
From researching online, the weight will be 279 grams. A regular flex will be stiffer in comparison to a senior flex. Depending on your swing speed, a senior, regular, or senior flex will be best. For example, someone with a swing speed with their driver between 75-85 mph will most likely need a senior flex. Someone with a swing speed between 85-95 mph will most likely need a regular flex. Someone with a swing speed between 95-105 mph will most likely need a stiff flex.

Q
I am a left handed 15 handicap. I use a 14 degree driver and a 13 degree hybrid. I am looking to add a fairway wood for tight tee shots and short par 4's. Would I be better with a 15 degree 3 wood or a 18 degree 5 wood? Thank you
asked by Richard H. on 12/20/2016
A
I would suggest the 18 degree 5 wood at the 3 wood is going to be virtually identical to your driver.
