Description

The Ping G30 driver features a 460cc head with crown turbulators which help to generate greater club head speed and ball velocity. The new T9S club face material is strong, lightweight and thin, optimizing face deflection for even higher ball speeds and longer drives. It also features Trajectory Tuning Technology which provides the player the ability to fine-tune launch conditions using five settings and 2 full degrees of loft adjustability. The ultra-thin crown has allowed Ping to move the weight to the perimeter of the head and positions the CG lower and farther back to increase forgiveness while creating optimal spin for longer drives. The G30 is Ping’s most forgiving driver in golf.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: Moderate face and sole wear; sky-marks, paint chips, paint blemishes, and scratches on the crown; dings and nicks on the crown and/or around the edges of the head; shaft wear.

Q
i am looking for a replacement driver for my husband (who is very selective) as a gift. but i know he want to make sure the fit is the same. Currently, he has a callaway extreeme with the Aldila shaft, light flex, 63 gram weight, high torgue, low kick and was wondering what those specs were for the Ping G30 driver?
asked by Diane B. on 7/22/2016
A
The Callaway extreme had an Aldila shaft made to go with the club. That shaft is not available for the G-30 driver. If he has "light" flex in that shaft, then that would be a "senior" flex shaft in terms of wording on our site. The G-30 driver comes stock with the Ping TFC 419 shaft, which is a 5.9 torque (high torque) and weighs 53 grams with low kick.

Q
What is low and high torque
asked by Abdul K. on 1/9/2017
A
Torque refers to the twisting of the head at impact. There will be less twisting at impact with a lower torque shaft and more twisting at impact with a higher torque shaft. Faster swing speeds will generally prefer a lower torque shaft.

Ping G30

I bought the LS format off the rack a few years and thought it was not as forgiving as I would like. Bought this one used and fought it to be much more accommodating for my level of play

Took 5 days to arrive down under. Surprised that the club did not have a cover, unlike Callaway who do supply new covers.

The G30 Is awesome
By Jeffrey G. on 12/12/2014

I have a G25 and was reluctant to spend the money to upgrade to the G30 but it was worth the money. Even though the G25 was great there are some major improvements to the G30 that I like. The sound at impact is greatly improved over the G25. But, The most important improvement for me is the spin on the launch monitor after I received the club my spin numbers were down over 300 RMP consistently from the G25. If you are in the market for a driver you would be making a huge mistake not to give the G30 a try.

By far the best driver I have ever played! Took it on a golf trip to Spain and I was long and straight off the tee all weekend. Love the sound of the ball coming off the face!

All around great club for the mid- high handicapper

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
