Description

The Adams XTD iron features an industry-first cross-cavity design that makes poorly-struck shots stay on line better than ever before. The center of gravity is moved off of the face, creating a gear-effect similar to that found in hybrids creating corrective spin that keeps the ball on its intended path. The cut-thru slot technology increases forgiveness and improves distance. It also features pressure piston that decreases vibration as well as improved pressure on the back of the face that creates the crisp sound of a forged iron. Lastly, it features improved alignment through a contrasting face design to allow easier alignment to your target.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Q
difference between "adams kbs Ctaper 90" to "fst kbs tour Ctaper 90 on these irons?
asked by Tony H. on 3/7/2016
A
From checking both options in our warehouse, these shafts are identical. It is simply an error when the products were listed online in that one person listed the set as having the adams kbs ctaper 90 shaft and another person listed the set as having the fst kbs tour ctaper 90 shaft.

Q
can these clubs be adjusted for loft and lie?
asked by ROBERT H. on 10/14/2016
A
As these are a cast club, bending them is more difficult than with a forged club. I would suggest you check with local shops and they will be able to tell you if they are comfortable bending them and how far they are willing to go. Note that you will be asked to sign a release form so that should one break, the shop is not responsible. This is a standard practice regarding making adjustments to clubs.

Q
Hi, im interested in the Adams XTD graphite left handed iron sets. This "value condition" is making me wonder how used they are. Is it possible to get a picture of the real set before i buy it?
asked by Ben V. on 12/2/2016
A
We do not have the ability to provide actual pictures as we ship from multiple locations and could have more than one of the same item. Our shipping department will simply pick the item on top and process the shipment. All of the iron sets are pre-boxed as well. Please follow the link below for details on our condition ratings. https://www.globalgolf.com/about/club-rating/

PERFECT!

These are the perfect irons! I have always been a frustrated golfer, trying to get better but I can never seem to do it. I bought these irons with high hopes and they have not disappointed. Combined with a Taylermade Aeroburner driver and I now have the perfect set! Shipping was fast and global golf as always has been very trustworthy.

Seem to be stiff shaft (regular)
By Joseph K. on 6/12/2017

I really like the irons, unfortunately the regular shaft stings the hands when you strike the ball. I changed the grips and a little better but not what I was looking for. I really like Adams products and have always found them to be really player friendly until this set of irons

XTD IRONS

Very good irons, lower launch than most. Only dislike is with the graphite shafts. I have the regular flex and the shafts play on the firm to stiff.

WOW

Recently bought these clubs. Hit them the first time and realized that you can hardly feel the ball jump off the face. Distance: they are at least one club longer than my Adams A7 irons. Adams XTD irons are far ahead of the rest with the Cross cavity design.

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
