The Wilson es 100s are great irons. I have played them only twice but I can see that they are longer than the Pings I traded in to get them, and they are very forgiving. The hybrids are something special. They are as long as the Taylor Made RBZs and Cleveland Mashies (the longest hybrids I have preciously owned), but more forgiving. There is also a wonderful distance gap with each club throughout the set.Since the 47 degree gap wedge is more of a pitching wedge, you will probably need two additional wedges. But that's not a problem as the hybrids are so long that one fairway wood may be enough to carry. In the irons category, Wilson seems to be as good as anything else out there.
I have been playing golf for 25 years and the Wilson Staff D100 irons are the best clubs I have ever played with (better than Callaway, Titleist, Ping, Taylormade). I went from a 13 to solid 8 handicap. The hybrids are incredible, forgiving and extremely accurate. I hit my first hole in one with the 6 hybrid. 200 yard shots from the rough are now possible!
