The Adams XTD driver features a 460cc titanium head and was designed with a redefined manufacturing process to produce the hottest face possible. Each head is tested four times to make sure it conforms to USGA rules. It features Cut-Thru Slot technology which creates a very high MOI for higher ball speeds across the entire face and enlarge the sweet spot.

Unfortunately the adaptors are not interchangeable between the M1 and XTD drivers.

the Most underrated driver, possibly ever

As a professional, I'm lucky to get access to most of the new stuff. This driver was in my bag almost the entire season. I'm not sure there's anything hotter, more forgiving, and better performing. Get it and try it for yourself!

Good driver, but not great.

I gave the Adams XTD driver 4 stars partially because the one I bought from Global Golf in very good used condition was at least very good if not excellent condition for a used driver. Also, this is a good driver which feels solid and performs well (provided you put a decent swing on it). But I remember when the XTD driver first came out, Adams promoted it as the hottest faced driver out there due to the Cut-Thru slots, etc. As I said, this is a good driver, but it's certainly not the longest or hottest driver out there. Having said that, at the current used prices at Global Golf, this one is worth buying if you are interested in a good driver at a good price.

Ended up Loving the XTD

Purchased this driver used with a very expensive, stiff, Japanese shat --got the head-cover and adjustment tool as well. I'm 6'6" (and 55yo), so I had the driver lengthened (1.5") and upgraded to a larger grip. At first I wasn't so sure about the clubface design, but after using the club I'm a believer. For me, Adams is not the first company to come to mind when considering a new driver (I like Callaway), but this XTD driver is easily one of the best I've ever used. Good balance, Longer, Straighter, Forgiving, etc., it has it all. I dare you to try it for yourself -- You Will Not Be Disappointed!

Mixed review love the driver adds yardage to drives, but after 12 balls at the driving range head came off shaft had it fixed locally (faster than sending it back and very reasonable)

Still have this one

Interesting enough; I'm on the fence with this one. It takes for me anyway; a very even tempo in order for this driver to deliver down the fairway; not the longest driver that I have; but I suppose if I keep it, then down the road when I have to move to the closer tees; this just might work?
