The Callaway FT-iZ driver features an innovative design to provide more distance and accuracy than ever before. Its Polar Weighting system uses a heavy face and an in-line power source in the back of the head to increase stability, consistency and linear acceleration of the ball. The Chemically Milled Hyperbolic Face Cup removes unwanted material from the face through a chemical reduction process to provide for precise thickness. The FT-iZ's Fusion Technology utilizes extreme weight placement through its titanium, compression cured carbon fiber, cast steel and formed aluminum construction.

Winners play Callaway

The long awaited Callaway ft-iz driver is now here and is a must need in a golfers artillery. Callaway has made a big name for themselves in the driver industry, but not as big as Taylormade. Callaway is the underdogs in the driver industry. Taylormade boasts that their the #1 driver in golf, with their burner super fast and "R" series drivers. The superfast line has been the fastest line of drivers ever. While the "R" series has movable weights that help to you to shape the ball. Something that Taylormade hasn't revolutionized is a a hyperbolic face. Hyperbolic convex faces help to give a bigger sweet spot. Hyperbolic crown faces give the driver a curved face that when at impact, the ball compresses into the face and helps to "spring" the ball off the tee. Another thing hyperbolic faces help to do is give the club a bigger sweet spot. A bigger sweet spot means that there will be less of a chance of you hitting the ball either straight up or a 150 yard worm burner. Another aspect of the game that Callaway has revolutionized is the use of fusion technology, hence the "FT" in FT-iZ. Fusion technology is the equal displacement of weighting used to help square the face at impact. Also in this club is the use of a rear weighting system to help push the club through the ball at impact and help to give it more velocity and consequentially more distance. An analogy to this rear weighting system is the use of a metal ball in a pinewood derby car. Except, this fusion technology system isn't illegal. From the downswing the extra weight in the rear helps to bring this club down faster. But don't forget with every great club- and this is a great club- comes some flaws. Even thought this club has the use of equal weight displacement, you can't move the weights or remove them. Another con of this club is the fact that the head looks extremely bulky. But these are some minor setbacks to this amazing driver,so don't be discouraged from buying it. This driver performs well no matter what and 275 yards is a feasable achievement to hit with only a few times of practice.

just so so

this is just a so so driver. it has a good sound and good feel, but it's not that long. off center hits do go a long way but pure shots do not go as long as others. shaft is a bit whippy even in S flex.

Well unfortunately, it is winter and I am unable to test this buy out, but I must say for it being in “very good” condition I am very pleased with the outcome. Good price and quick shipping. No complaints here

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
