Description

The TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Rescue hybrid features a triangular-shaped head that creates a low and deep center of gravity, making high, long shots easier to perform. Its shallow face design increases spin for more carry. It sets up beautifully at address and makes hard-to-hit long irons a thing of the past.

Love the look and performance

Easy to hit high and straight. I looked at the original Golf Digest review of this club and it said that the clubs were very forgiving, easy to hit high and straight, but lacked the distance of some other from that year, like its cousin the Burner 07 rescue. I have found this Digest review to be true in my experience. Still give it five stars for the great shaft and was of use.

The ball jumps off the clubface and glides through the rough with ease. I was shocked at how long these are!

MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES

I can't say enough about this TaylorMade model. I have completed my collection of the entire set and have never played better. The r7 CGB Max driver, fairway woods, hybrids and irons all have a great head to shaft weight ratio and low center of gravity that gives you confidence on every swing. The hybrids are very easy to hit and you will likely find yourself replacing your 3 to 5 irons with them as you gain a longer flight and softer landing with less effort. Unlike the model's driver and fairway woods that allow a 3-weight adjustment, these hybrids are not adjustable, but seem to always fly straight or with a slight draw. Shots pick clean from the rough, fairway or a tight lie. You won't be disappointed and may, like me, eventually replace your entire set of clubs with these classics.
