The TaylorMade r7 Draw irons are engineered with the same Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) that has made their drivers #1 on Tour. They also feature Draw Weighted Technology to remove weight from the cavity and position the center of gravity deeper and closer to the heel. An expanded COR zone provides increased yardage, especially on off-center hits. This revolutionary design makes the r7 Draw irons more forgiving than ever before.

  • More power and superior ball flight for more distance.
  • Draw-Weighted Technology helps square the clubface fast at impact to promote a draw by moving weight from the cavity area at the toe, moving the CG back, and closer to the heel.
  • Ultra-deep and wide cavity creates super-low and deep CG for high launch and long carry.

Excellent Set of Clubs
By Mike on 2/15/2010

I have owned the R7 Draws for about two years now. These are some great clubs. They have progressive offset making the long irons easier to hit. They are a high to mid handicap set. A low handicap golfer will find the offset very strange. The weight in the heal of the club allows for the toe to release a lot easier as well. They are a great club for a great price for a high handicapper. I do recommend

I took them to the driving range the first day I got them, I couldn't believe how well I was hitting the ball. They helped me to be very accurate. I really love this set of clubs.

Love em

I played with a set of rac mb/cb's for the past few seasons after stopping for a decade. The rac's are great to look at, beautiful at address but showcased my mishits and pretty much left em un playable. If i could take 5 swings attempts at every stroke during play, id keep my pc's but for the price and response, these r7's have been solid. I shoot high 80's on average and only aspire to trend downwards on the card so they'll stay in the bag for at least another season. I recommend for the mid to higher handicap golfer

R7 Draw irons
By Brice Brazinsky on 3/14/2011
1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

I have had the R7 draw irons for many years now and the clubs I still currently have in my bag hit great in light of their age. When I purchased these irons about a year after they came out I was a mid handicap golfer. These irons helped improve my ball striking by giving me more confidence in my hits they also are considerably long. Because of these clubs my irons developed into the best part of my game. As stated in an earlier review the offset head and draw weighting can be unnecessary and uncomfortable to low handicappers, but these are a definite recommendation for high or mid handicappers looking to get more into the game or need help with their ball striking, so if you know someone like that I greatly recommend these irons for them. You can buy a good used set here from Global Golf.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
