Description

The TaylorMade Rescue Dual TP hybrid features TaylorMade's Movable Weight Technology, offering players the power to change the center of gravity to create a larger draw bias or a neutral trajectory bias, promoting greater accuracy and distance. The T-shaped sole promotes increased clubhead stability at address and reduced drag at impact. It's a great club and a great value for players of all skill levels.

Q
whats the difference between the "TP" vs non-TP version of this club ?
asked by E Bruce C. on 8/1/2017
A
The TP model has a higher Cg promoting a lower ball flight and also features a lower launching shaft. Both typically favored by better players.

Indestructible Effective Adjustable - Great Club

Handicap: 11-15  Plays Golf: I play weekly  Dexterity: Right Hand

I have used the rescue dual hybrids for years and they were the first hybrids I bought back in 2007 (they came out in 2005) when I no longer wanted to hit long irons. The construction is first rate and the partial metal crown makes the club indestructible - no crown chips of paint etc. They are as long as anything I have used since their purchase except my new JPX-EZ hybrids. And if you change the weights, because of the small head it is like using an entirely different club as the ball flight is dramatically changed. So these are effective, durable, and adjustable and so make a great purchase as a used club.

Plays Golf: I play more than once a week  Dexterity: Right Hand

I bought it because the changeable weights. It's 14 degree and think even hybrids fall short to fairway woods just like irons at this loft.
