The 2002 Callaway Big Bertha Irons feature a very deep, oversize, cavity backed head that has a patented channel running in the back of it that creates more stability in the head for a more solid feel and more accuracy. They also have Variable Face Thickness technology, which provides more Trampoline Effect on mis-hits than ever before.

Condition Description

Clubs in Value Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Value Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Value Condition: NOTE: Some irons are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Moderate face and sole wear; minor groove wear and/or chrome wear; rock dings on the leading edge and/or sole; light rusting; shaft wear. The ferrules may or may not be seated to the hosel on each iron in the set. The ferrule is purely cosmetic, and will not affect the playability of the club.

Very nice!

These clubs were advertised as "value" condition, however they arrived in darn near perfect condition. So what they call value, to me is excellent. Could not be more pleased! It is very refreshing when there are so many rip off artists out there. Here you get great equipment and the price is always right!

Nice set of clubs

I just started playing golf again after many years away. I read quite a few reviews that touted the virtues of the Callaway Big Bertha 2002 Irons, forgiving and honest. Some detractors felt they are too heavy and make it hard to shape shots. Since my game is not at the point where shot shaping is a high priority, I decided to give these a try. The condition exceeded my expectations! Of course, they are 15-16 years old and have been used, but they are in great shape for playing and still look good. Shafts and grips are in great shape! A very nice way to get a great set of clubs at a bargain price. Shipping was quicker than promised. I will not hesitate to use GlobalGolf again!

Callaway is a great brand. These clubs, though an older model, are the perfect club for someone trying to get the ball in the air easily, but still have play-ability.

These are your U-try selections. Only U-try eligible clubs appear here. 2 club limit.

Our U-try golf club demo program lets you try out a brand new golf club from the game's top brands for 14 days and only $25 a club. That's right—you get a brand new, still-in-the-plastic club to try for two weeks for just $25.

You get to try it when, where, and how you want for two weeks before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Want to test out two different brands, or two different configurations? No problem. U-try lets you try out up to 2 clubs for $25 per club.

This isn't 30 minutes on the range with range balls, a pro looking over your shoulder, and an awkward conversation at the end about whether you want it or not.

U-try gives you the freedom to test drive the club on your course, at your pace, with the golf ball you play. Use it as much as you like so you can really know what the club will do for your game before you invest in it.

If you don't love it, simply put it back in the box it came in, use the included prepaid return shipping label, and send it back to us. That's it.

If you do love it, that's awesome! You keep the club, we'll subtract the $25 trial fee off the final cost of the club, and we'll charge you the difference.
