This is the second generation to feature this. New to the Mavrik is the Cyclone Aero shape which results in less drag and higher club head speed. The club head is shallower from front to back and features a flatter crown. Finally, the sole design dramatically sweeps upward in the back creating a much higher trailing edge. A single, fixed 5 gram weight is positioned back-center in the sole, promoting a moderate draw and mid spin rate.

MAVRIK Sub Zero Driver

A staple in Callaway models for the last five years, Sub Zero drivers offer a combination of low spin and high MOI. The Mavrik Sub Zero continues this offering thanks to Callaway’s R&D. Two interchangeable screws, 14g and 2g, can be moved between a single from and single back location to fine tune launch angle and spin-rate. The Sub Zero model features a flatter lie angle than Callaway’s other two Mavrik offerings and has a neutral ball flight bias.

Are you looking for a driver that is long and easy to hit that will also help reduce your slice off the tee? If so, Mavrik Max is the club for you. It has the most draw bias while also featuring the largest footprint in the Mavrik line. Throw in the highest MOI and a tremendous amount of high-speed surface area and you have an extremely easy to launch, forgiving driver. For added draw bias, the Mavrik Max comes with two weights, 14g and 2g, that can be changed between the center back and heel side of the sole to fine tune slice control.

The large and expansive hitting area of the Mavrik fairway woods results in no lack of confidence at all. High launch and flat trajectory are provided by incorporating a single fixed weight sole in the club that is visible. This weight does this by moving the CG low and back in the club. A generous heel camber makes the club very versatile while progressive leading edge geometry adds to the ball speed design. The Mavrik fairway is available in a 3+, 3, 4, 5, and 7 wood loft.

Interchangeable weights in the center back and heel side of the sole are combined with Callaway’s largest, most forgiving head to create a club that is easy to hit and will help control your slice by creating draw bias. The wider radius at the bottom of the face results in more hitting area in the low toe and low heel regions benefiting higher handicap players. Shots hit low on the club face perform much better thanks to the noticeable lower leading edge.
