Description
The Taylor Made RocketBallz iron set is engineered to promote more distance, improved accuracy and great feel. The Two-Piece metalwood-inspired construction in 3, 4, and 5 irons for low CG and high COR. The ultra-thin face flexes freely to promote COR up to the USGA limit for high ball speed. RocketBallz irons have a re-engineered face with a new "Toe-Bar" which controls face-flexion to direct shot straighter. The new vibration and sound control system promotes excellent feel and sound. Wedges incorporate new ATV sole for maximum versatility and playability.

SWEET set of Clubs |

Just received my set of irons (4-AW Reg Flex Steel). My previous set were the TaylorMade Burner 2.0's and I usually would shoot in the mid to upper 80's. First round with my new RBZ irons, I shot a 79. These babies are so sweet to hit and they are STRAIGHT. Good feel, very forgiving, and about 7-10 yeards longer with each club over my 2.0's. If you are looking a great set of game improvement irons, that are easy to hit, I would highly suggest that you give these a try.

TaylorMade offered this entire set with conventional irons, and you didn't already own TM Burner 2.0 irons. From 6 thru wedge, these are quality irons, but they don't appear to be appreciably longer than my 2.0s. The "metalwood" long irons don't fit my eye, but they will go a long way if struck properly. Recommend that unless you're truly looking for "super game improvement" irons, either look at the Burner 2.0s or consider a 6-wedge RBZ set. I replaced the 4/5-irons with those from my Burner set. The hollow metalwood long irons are probably overkill for 12-15 handicappers and below.
