The Callaway Diablo Octane driver features a new Forged Composite material in the crown (33% of the clubhead) that is lighter and stronger than titanium. It allows for a longer clubhead for additional clubhead speed and produces an amazing 8 more yards than the Diablo Edge driver. It also features Hyperbolic Face Technology, which precisely controls the face thickness, resulting in consistently higher ball speeds across the entire face for more distance, even on off-center hits.

Long but a strange impact sound |

Great distance,which could come from the longer shaft. I am not too fond of the sound at impact. Seems muted.. I have only had it in play 2 times and a few balls on the range,probably need to get it dialed in. The extra length requires you to wait a little longer than my last Diablo edge..
