Description

The Taylor Made R9 irons are cast from stainless steel and feature a classic look and shape. They each feature a Velocity-Control Chamber (VCC), which provides a higher COR for more distance. The VCC works with a silicone shock absorber and a vibration-reducing badge in the cavity for less vibration and great feel. The chamber wraps around the face of the long irons (through the 6-iron) for an even higher COR. Taylor Made's Inverted Cone Technology is optimized for a 10% improvement in consistency and distance control.
