Description
The Taylor Made R9 SuperTri driver features a 460cc titanium head with both FCT (Flight Control Technology) and MWT (Movable Weight Technology). FCT and MWT combine to provide 24 combinations of face angle and CG location, which allow for up to 75 yards of side-to-side trajectory change. The driver also features a deeper club face and deeper center of gravity to promote higher launch angles and a higher spin rate, making it easier to launch than previous R9 models.
Condition Description
Clubs in Very Good Condition have been played with and cared for in an appropriate fashion. The markings that you will likely find on Very Good Condition products will show typical wear of models of its age. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Very Good Condition: Normal ball marks and scratching on the face; normal scratching on the sole; very light scratches or paint chips on/around the crown.

This is one outstanding driver! Prior to owning this one I had the r7 460 and thought it was the cats mewow. I bought this SuperTri two weeks ago and have played 6 rounds with it, my average drive with the r7 was around 190-210 yds, with this I'm getting consistently 245-260, playing a Titleist NXT Tour-S ball. Not bad for a 63 yo, huh.

I picked up this club at Golftown (I'm Canadian, and since in the end I wanted a brand new one I had no choice) after 1 round I noticed a huge improvement in my drives (lessons helped though!) but in comparison to my old driver which was a Callaway ERC. It's absolutely phenomenal. When I hit the sweet spot in this thing, it carries at least 250. Boy, does it sound beautiful. My ears ring for minutes afterwards.
