I'm 71 yrs old and until I got my G15 last year I had lost 30 yards in 3 yrs, I gained back 15 of them with the G15 and never worry about the right side hazard. It draws and gets me 210 and straight!
Thinking already of trading it for a Senior flex.Mine is Reg flex,10,5 degrees.Love it

No more short knockers in my foursome |

I was a bit hesitant to demo the club at first being a Taylormade Driver fan for years. But I did and am glad I opened my mind. First of all this has to be as forgiving a clubface as available. Off center hits still find the fairway with some distance. When you catch it clean its "bombs away!!!". The clubhead lines up square so after a few swings I was able to go after it a bit and be confident I would find my ball. After my purchase I felt the length was a bit long but after a range session and figuring out the correct ball placement it was like throwing darts into the fairway. I am the longest guy in my group but they have finally caught on and joined the brotherhood of Ping. Key point; get a good fitting from a Ping approved clubfitter as they have too many options to figure out. The nFlight system will get the right shaft and loft into your hands. I have considered getting a backup just in case one of my buddies finds one that looks like mine after a friendly weekend skins beatdown.

Ping G15 |

I have many drivers, including the I15 and G15 from Ping. I loved the I15 until I hit the G15 this year. It sounds great, feels great and flies high with solid distance and lots of forgiveness. Until recently, I have been inconsistent with my swing this year and the G15 was much better than the I15. Now that I am hitting the ball solid again, it's a toss-up but the sound and feel of the G15 is better. I have the same shaft in both so the difference is obviously in the head of the club. It's too bad that Ping doesn't have the adjustability of other drivers now. Only loft and shaft are variable, but I'm happy for now.

If you’re the kind of golfer who fights a slice, frequently misses to the right, or simply can’t achieve any degree of consistency with your current driver, then absolutely, you should be looking at the PING G15. If however, you miss, left, or don’t miss much at all, then realistically, there is very little reason for you to look at the G15. Fortunately, the K15 and I15 are also part of PING’s current driver lineup. If the G15 doesn’t suite you, there’s a good chance one of those will.
We do think the G15 is an excellent choice for the higher handicap golfer, the guy whose idea of workability is “working the ball out of the trees” before hitting his third. For guys who want to shape their shots, or for those looking for a bit more feel from the big dog, the K15 probably isn’t ideal.
The PING G15 is definitely not a one size fits all driver, but for the guy it does fit, it could prove to be an absolute game changer.
