I ordered this used club in 'Very Good' condition and it arrived in less than good condition. It seemed that somebody had been playing this club out of gravel or soemthing, the grooves were worn and the Z milled grooves that make this a popular club were more or less non-existent. The face was full of nicks and dings everywhere. The club serves its purpose, but you can't possibly hit check up or suck back shots like you could with one of these in better condition. I have the same club in a 54 deg. that I have had for 3 years that looks brand new in comparison. It's a great club that I would rate a 5, but I'm downgrading it to a 3 based on the condition. I'm debating whether or not to return it and buy something else. If you are a player that likes to spin the ball around the green, go ahead and pass on the used wedges.
This wedge is a performer. If you are a wedge artist, you will love the feel and playability you get with this wedge. Just be aware: In 2024 it may not be legal for amateurs to use. Until then, use it and enjoy.
I bought this sand wedge from Globalgolf on eBay in very good condition. Besides the little scuffs on the face of the club, the grooves are in excellent condition! I've switched to Taylormade wedges this year and I'm very proud of my move! Bye bye Cleveland wedges, Hello Taylormade!
