Great Club - Rocketballz Stage 2 |

Finally,
A brand new quality driver in which you can feel the club-head during the swing. The shaft is so light that you know where the club-head is all the way through the swing. Hooray for D4 swing-weight.
I returned a Callaway X HOT because I couldn't feel the club-head (D3).
I'm hitting this 250 down the middle and I'm 63 years old.
I have the 10.5 reg flex..... Perfect !

RocketBallz-ier: Introducing the TaylorMade RBZ Stage 2 Driver
When TaylorMade first unveiled the RocketBallz driver, it introduced innovations in technology and design that defined a new generation of TaylorMade clubs. The RBZ Stage 2 driver takes it to the next level with reworked technology and advanced new features.
Technology
The latest feature of the RBZ Stage 2 driver is TaylorMade's Loft-Sleeve technology. Loft-Sleeve gives you 7 standard and 5 upright loft options to better suit your playing style. Each option adjusts the available standard loft ± 1.5 degrees: the 9.5-degree loft can tuned from 8 degrees to 11 degrees; the 10.5-degree loft from 9 degrees to 12 degrees; and the HL 13-degree loft from 11.5 degrees to 14.5 degrees. The result is unprecedented optimization in a TaylorMade club.
Retooled versions of more familiar TaylorMade features include the Thick-Thin crown, which positions the Center of Gravity lower and more forward. This gives you faster ball speed, higher launch and lower spin for greater distance and accuracy.
The driver's standout feature, however, is the redesigned clubface. It has been expanded to 4100 square millimeters through improved Inverted Cone Technology milled into the side. This creates a larger hitting area and subsequently more forgiveness on off-center hits.
In addition, the head has more aerodynamic engineering to further reduce drag and accelerate clubhead speeds. Todd Beach, TaylorMade's Vice President of Metalwood Research and Development, admits that designing a larger face while making the head more aerodynamic was "a big challenge", but the extra work paid off: according to TaylorMade, the end product is a driver that gives you more distance than ever before.
For additional swing speed enhancement, the RBZ Stage 2 driver comes standard with a Fujikura RocketFuel 50 graphite shaft.
Style and Design
The RBZ Stage 2 has a more understated color scheme compared to that of the original RocketBallz. The bold "slime green" accents have been replaced by elegant yellow and gray stripes. The new oversized crown decal works with the crown's non-glare white finish and matte black clubface to assist you with alignment, making the RBZ Stage 2's visual design both attractive and practical.
All in all, Taylormade's RBZ Stage 2 driver refines the RocketBallz driver to create a more playable, more polished club. Mark your calendar for this one—it will be available for pre-sale on GlobalGolf.com on January 3, 2013. The RBZ Stage 2 drivers release everywhere beginning on February 1, 2013.
