Description

The Mizuno JPX-800 Combo iron set is the first iron set to utilize Mizuno's JPX technology in the United States. JPX technology combines MAX COR Technology, Hot Metal Face construction, and an exotic pocket cavity, which results in the maximum allowable COR limits for energy transfer in irons. The Mizuno JPX Fli-Hi hybrids were designed to directly replace difficult to hit traditional long irons. Multi-thickness faces that combine a Hot Metal maraging steel face and a Drop Down Crown that raises the Moment of Inertia both horizontally and vertically for maximum ball speeds across the entire face. The Drop Down Crown promotes a low and deep center of gravity for optimal launch angles. The 6 & 7 irons have MAX COR construction with a low and deep CG for optimal forgiveness and distance, while the 8-PW irons have a deep pocket cavity for maximum forgiveness and improved accuracy, and the Gap wedge features a solid power bar design that maximize control and accuracy.
