I've been playing TM clubs and these are by far the best. Great feel and distance. Miss hits do not hurt and gets good distance. I had mine custom ordered through Global Golf and it took only 2 1/2 weeks to get my clubs. It's custom due to my fitting requirements. I love the DG XL shafts, I can really compress the ball and shots are higher. I've played Tour Burner and R9 irons but these feel the best and looks the best also. Great job TM and Global Golf!
I have played r7 and Burner 1.0, and by far, TM CB are the best clubs I have played. On mis hits, you can expect good distance, and not to bad vibration on your hands as you expect on tour stile clubs.
I've played Pings all my life and finally decided to look outside the Ping lineup. I'm a 12 handicap and a solid ball striker. I hit my 6 iron about 170. These irons feel really nice when struck well and play long due to lofts being 1 degree stronger than most other sets. On mishits I expected to lose more distance than I do. On well struck shots you will be rewarded. For the player looking to upgrade their iron game without sacrificing the forgiveness of a cavity back, these clubs are great. They immediately let you know when you've pured it or not. I'm pretty sure that the R11's pushed this model out so you can get a great performing iron at a discount price. At any rate, buying these second hand is a good option AFTER you've been fit and know the specs you need for your swing.
Great Clubs all around.
