Description
The Callaway X-Series Jaws CC Wedges feature the new Tour CC Grooves that meets the condition of competition rules instituted by the USGA and R&A effective January 1, 2010. The proprietary groove pattern produces enhanced spin for complete control on approach shots into and around the greens. The C-Grind sole along with a classic head design ensure versatility for the short game while providing superior feel from the soft forged 1020 carbon steel construction.
Condition Description
Clubs in Very Good Condition have been played with and cared for in an appropriate fashion. The markings that you will likely find on Very Good Condition products will show typical wear of models of its age. All of the wear is purely cosmetic, and will not in any way affect the performance of the club. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Very Good Condition: NOTE: Some wedges are designed to rust over time. This is not considered adverse wear. Normal ball marks on the face with minimal groove wear; minor scratching on the sole and in the cavities; no significant wear on the shaft.

Excellent feel and spin |

These wedges are awesome! I have played many different wedges, mostly made by Titleist and Cleveland. I always ended up going back to the Cleveland 588's and had never really considered Callaway. The last set of 588's I bought, I just couldn't find the feel I was used to (maybe it was the chrome finish which I'd never played before?) so I thought I'd try something different. I really love the look of this wedge but when I tried the original model (not the CC), I just couldn't get over how much they tore up balls. Even hard range balls. So I stayed away. When the Slate CC version came out, I tried again. Much better! They look awesome and feel better. The ball shredding is gone and there is no noticeable loss of spin. I'm a 12 handicap and I rely heavily on my short game to save scores. I have these in 52, 56 and 60 and I doubt that they'll leave my bag for a long time.
