All the top of the line drivers have different qualities they excell in,such their sound, feel, balance, distance and looks. This driver has it all! I purchased the ZL because my current driver has 10.5 degrees of loft and I wanted a lower ball flight. The ZL I purchased has 9.5 degrees of loft and the ball flight is just what I want. The ZL has a unique feel at impact that I have never felt in any other name brand driver. It's so solid at impact that it feels like your hitting the ball with a sludge hammer. I'm extremely pleased with this club, and look forward to it helping me enjoy this great game even more.

Great Driver, Simple Adjustability |

I previously had the Cobra LV4 which I said I would never replace....straight, long and easy to hit. Problem is I am always tinkering with and replacing my clubs, so I picked up the ZL.
I love hitting this driver as well, like the other reviewer, I do miss the old louder sound, I think I can adjust though. I have not tried the S2, I imagine it's sound is more of what Cobra owners are used to.

I was just looking into getting one for my brother. This is THE best driver I have ever hit. I have tried the 909D, 910D2 and use the 909F2 as my 3 wood, but nothing else will go in the bag for my driver. I was skeptical about some of the reviews and the claims about adding 30+ yards to your drive. Depending on what your previous driver was, this could be very true. This past weekend our team won a scramble and used this driver on most holes, hitting BOMBS. You could cut corners on doglegs blast it high 300 yards and land around the green. I usually hit 270-ish with my old 427 ss cobra that has the old cobra "ping" sound to it. Distances were similar with a 983 titleist and a 909 titleist. We thought that was far until every drive was 300+ yards with this club AND much straighter. The added length of the shaft really does not compromise accuracy.
It is versatile so if you want the comfort of a closed face with reduced slice, it works well, or if you want to really try to kill it, open it up.
Zero Limits does what it says, removes the limits of distance and accuracy.
PS. It has a high launch, so I would tend to recommend going down a degree (ie. 10.5 golfers try 9.5) from your usual loft.

Bought a new Cleveland driver because I was told how amazing Cleveland is. I was playing the Cobra ZL for about a year now. after one round I put the ZL back in my bag. I have had many drivers and never have had one as great as the ZL. The club is just amazing and generates so much distance. Even when I hit it poorly, it will save me by giving me a manageable second shot. This club will be in my bag for a while. Hard to replace a driver that is such a solid part of my game!

Probably the best value I've ever experienced |

I bought this club in "very good" condition. For goodness' sake! This club when it came in the mail, looked better than any club I've seen before. I was very hesitant to buy a "very good" club after looking at all the nicks and dings on the example picture. Take a look at the "Mint" picture- that is what this club is like. There are no paint chips and no ball spots on the face. As far as I'm concerned, this club was NEW when I bought it!
With regards to performance, I took it to the range and bought a bucket of balls. The first say, 20 balls were erratic and only giving me about 150 yards. So I took the club up, looked at the face and saw that I was hitting every single ball on the heel. So I took a step back, and blasted the last 15 balls over 260 yards!!! That may not seem like much but I am a sophomore in High School and got (at most) 200 yards out of my drive (granted, I was using a driver that was from a set of Maxfli's) and i had an atrocious slice. Now that slice is gone and I have 30+ yards CONSISTENTLY! Did I mention? GET. THIS. CLUB.
Bottom line, regardless of how much money you have, do yourself a favor and go ahead and buy the club in "very good" or "good" condition- you won't be sorry.
Btw, the adjustment tool- Get it.
