Nice Cast Players Iron |

These irons are very solid, and very well thought out. I prefer playing forged irons for the feel, and while these are no mizuno's, they feel nice on a well struck ball.
Are they going to add 15 yards to your game? Not likely. However, if you are playing a set of muscle backs as a 20 handicapper, you might find a few yards because these are easier to hit.
Are they workable? Some may disagree with me here, but anything is workable. If you know how to hit a fade or draw, you can easily accomplish that with these irons. I had a difficult time keeping the ball low, but that is my fault.
Who should buy these? Someone who A. Is a descent ball striker (they can feel harsh on thin mishits, or out on the toe). B. Someone who really likes looking down on a players club, but wants some love when things are not perfect. C. A good player, looking for a solid cast iron that will last a while (forged clubs wear more quickly).
My least favorite part of these clubs had to be the long irons. They are made with a very wide sole and you can see the back end sticking out when you are looking down. It's not a huge deal to everyone, most GI clubs are like this now days. However, I KNOW there are guys out there who would care, thus, I have spared them from being gravely disappointed.
All in all, they are a fantastic club. I have not hit the new TM clubs coming out in March 2011, but I have hit the Callaway Razr Forged, CB 2's, AP 2 710's, S56's, etc., and these rank up there with all of these great clubs.
Thanks for reading!

R9 Irons |

These irons are very helpful. i just recently made the switch from a beginner set of tommy armours to these r9's. I have seen a tremendous improvement on distance and it has a much bigger sweet spot on it and feels much better than any club i've ever hit. I reccomend buying these irons they will help your distance improve by a great amount, and it will allow you to hit the ball straighter, with more room for error on the club.
